At Angelica, worship is for everyone. But we also offer a Sunday School hour at 8:30 AM for children three-years through 12th grade. The children enjoy stories, music, crafts and interactive games.

The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) has more than 2.3 million baptized members in some 6,200 congregations with more than 9,000 pastors, and is the second largest Lutheran church body in North America. Two seminaries and 10 colleges & universities operate under the auspices of the LCMS, and its congregations operate the largest Protestant parochial school system in America. Members may call the church office (313) 381-2080 to arrange a baptism date and time. You do not need to be a member to schedule a baptism for your child. However, non-members will need to meet with Pastor Sachs prior to scheduling a baptism. Visit our Baptism page for more information.
Weddings are conducted for couples who are interested in building a marriage relationship around a shared commitment to Jesus Christ. Members and non members may schedule a meeting with Pastor Sachs. At that time, the church’s wedding packet will be reviewed. Wedding and rehearsal dates are finalized when the wedding application is received by the church office. Pre-wedding counseling sessions are arranged through the church office with the couple and Pastor Sachs. Counseling consists of at least four sessions (one hour each). The first session should be set up no less than 8 weeks prior to the wedding.
