All are invited to attend and participate in a very special Lessons and Carols, presented and led by the Aeolian Chorale under the direction of Marshall Dicks, with David Hufford, organist. The Aeolian Chorale is a premier vocal group in our area, consisting of about 20-25 singers. The group was founded in 2014, and has presented several concerts of excellent vocal music in various genres.

The Lessons and Carols event follows the traditional Lessons and Carols format, presenting a variety of congregational hymns for Advent and Christmas, corresponding readings from the Holy Scripture, Choral Anthems, and Organ Voluntaries. The program includes many beloved hymns and beautiful anthems from the traditional Advent and Christmas repertoire, plus perhaps a few new musical treats. Many people have tuned in to the Christmas broadcast from King’s College each year, which follows a similar format of joyful and beautiful solemnity. We are blessed to be able to present this quality event in the beauty of our own Sanctuary.

Please plan to join us for this wonderful and special event as we anticipate the coming and birth of our Lord Jesus Christ in music, Word, and song. A freewill offering will be received, to support the work of the Aeolian Chorale and to benefit Angelica Lutheran Church. Invite your neighbors and friends!
