On Wednesday, March 6 the Women’s Guild will have a meeting immediately following the lunch served after the 11:00 service. All are welcome to attend the meeting. Come help them plan future activities or suggest new projects for them. They are always looking for new ideas.

The Women’s Guild will be serving lunch on Wednesday, March 13 immediately following the 11:00 Lenten service. They will be serving some of their favorite salads and desserts. Don’t miss out! They are great cooks!

On Tuesday, March 19, the Women’s Guild will be attending a luncheon at the Sterling Inn. Evelyn Lisk, Angelica’s Woman of the Year, will be honored. Approximately 39 people will be attending the luncheon to represent Angelica. Dr. Rich Bimler, Ambassador of Health, Hope, and Aging for Lutheran Life Communities will be the featured speaker. On Saturday, April 13, the Women’s Guild is having a bake sale in conjunction with the Garage Sale.

And, the Women’s Guild and the Garden Club are again working together to sell outdoor flowers. More information will follow in the next newsletter.

Save the date! A Potluck is planned for Sunday, May 19 immediately following the second service. Steve Gauss, Community Relations Director for the Lutheran Homes of Michigan, will help dispel misconceptions surrounding nursing home care.
